Modern Accents

Sometimes woodgrains shouldn’t be the star of the show, but rather part of the supporting cast. This modern barndominium build follows this ethos, using Tru-Steel HD® digitally printed steel siding in Natural Rough Sawn Cedar to frame the mostly black-painted structure.

The lighter-colored and yellow-hued cedar print perfectly contrasts the black steel siding and mimics hefty wooden beams that enclose the perimeter of the build. This barndominium is a case study in how elegant and understated accents can elevate any project.

Unmatched Durability

What do wood siding, vinyl siding, and fiber cement siding all have in common? They deteriorate, and quickly. Wood siding, even when treated, will show signs of fading and rot after just a few years, and is vulnerable to pests such as termites. Vinyl siding fades even more quickly, and while it may not rot, it will warp and crack with extreme hot and cold fluctuations. Fiber cement siding is not waterproof and can lead to severe moisture problems if not installed properly. Like vinyl siding, it is susceptible to cracking with temperature changes.

Only Tru-Steel HD® digitally printed woodgrain steel siding overcomes these problems and has an ultra-realistic woodgrain appearance. Its durable steel construction is immune to cracking and can freely expand and contract in heat and cold without damage. A Class A fire-rating attests to its fire resistance, and when properly installed, moisture cannot penetrate its surface. A UV-resistant clearcoat protects the printed image to prevent scratches and fading for years on end.
